Accounting For The Arts was founded in 2021 by Samantha Cantrell who is a AAT Licenced Accountant.

Sam has been helping dance teachers with their accounts and bookkeeping via a Facebook Group for a couple of years and it only seemed right that the next step was to turn that into a business.

Sam is also a dance teacher so has always had a passion for teaching and accountancy (we know the passion for accountancy is a bit odd) and wanted to put these two professions together to create something that is extremely useful for all those in dance and the arts.

Sam really believes that we can help performing arts schools to understand (and maybe even enjoy……we know this is highly unlikely) accounting and bookkeeping in small, easy bitesize videos so that they can spend more time concentrating on understanding their accounts and making money for their business.
